# About Funding Curve

Funding Curve is a mechanism designed to protect funders.

**Rules**

* If a project fails to raise 33% of its funding goal within five days, the Funding Curve mechanism is triggered.
* If the creator requests it before the project reaches 33%, the Funding Curve mechanism is triggered.

**How it works**

Funders’ money is protected and refunded to their wallets within 48 hours.
